FAQ

How do you get your books?

We are a used and overstock bookstore, and we acquire our books in a couple of ways:

Our used books come from different places, from people looking to unload their personal collections, which come from different sources; however, we aim to provide the largest selection we can personally curate, which means our stock isn't necessarily all-inclusive, but is intentionally chosen and brought together by a reader, for readers.

Our overstock books come from a wholesale provider who purchases books not sold from bigger stores (such as Wal-Mart, Target, and publishing houses), and then sell those books to other independent bookstores (including us), libraries, etc.

Our goal is to curate a selection of "lost" books, that might otherwise not make it into the hands of readers.

What condition can I expect my books and accessories to show up in?

While we can't guarantee one singular condition across all our books (unless we start offering new books in the future), our books vary in condition from a simple dot on the edges, potentially a torn dust jacket or book cover, to no damage at all.

We do our best to list the condition the book is in, and if the book arrives in a condition that doesn't match what was described, we strive to make it right.

Are you part of a big box store?

No, we are a husband and wife-owned and operated LLC out of Utah! This means we are a small business, with a wife who loves to read, and a husband who loves to support.

How do you pick what books to showcase in your store?

These are books that I (Hannah, Owner and Operator) have read and loved, or have heard other people have loved, or even those that have simply evoked strong emotions; I also pick books based on those that I come across that are on my own personal TBR, and I would love to read myself. While I can't always stock every book I've ever loved or that I still can't stop thinking about to this day (I'm looking at you - The Great Alone, The Nightingale, House on the Cerulean Sea, The Bridge Kingdom, Shield of Sparrows, etc., you get the picture), I do my best to snag up the great reads I can as I come across them, because let's face it: I love buying books, recommending books, and sharing them with other readers.
